Hey, guys sorry for not being here for the past 2 weeks. I was under the weather and I was looking for some more material. If you follow me on Instagram you would have seen that I found 4 new books to read. So make sure to check for those. I just really wanted to talk to you guys about the books more. We can discuss books together because this is a space where we can talk about books. It's a safe place for book nerds and occasional readers. An insight where you can find books that you like to read. Also, you guys can request book genres that you would like me to talk about. Some people might not fancy the books I've been doing so far and that's perfectly fine. Tell me what you want and I'll give it to you. I don't discriminate. I think what I'm trying to say is we should communicate more because it's not just for me but for you guys too. Anyways I hope you guys have a great day today. Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe

P.S. This is definitely not the original cover so don't come for meeeee!!! I recently just finished this book and it's amazing. Honestly, I loved reading this book so much and I don't understand why I hadn't read it a long time ago. I even have some history on the book. It was written in 1958  Chinua Achebe and has won various awards. This is a great piece of Nigerian Literature. I hope everyone gets to read it. It's a tale of when old traditions meet the new. How you receive them or reject them, how you let others respond to them, and what you do to yourself. I don't know if I'm making sense but you need to read it to truly get it. You need to really enter the mind of the author to understand the meaning of this story you know. Okay, let me give the general overview of the book. So it was set in the mid-1900s, when the British first came to Nigeria to actually spread their religion and not for the other things they were doing before that. This boo

The Thing Around Your Neck by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

It's another classic by the one and only Chimamanda. Now this book is amazing. It's not just one story, it's a book of stories. Literally...I'm not kidding, an actual book full of stories. Each chapter is another story from a whole different point of view. You learn so much about different types of people from different backgrounds. This is a must read for sure. You can't just skip over this book, you have to read each and every word because you can't catch up in the next chapter, it's page by page and word by word. That's what makes it even more amazing to read. I would try to give you an overview/summary of the book but honestly, I don't think I can. It's what I said, a story of stories. There is nothing connecting these stories, they don't tie in together, they're just there. They're there for us to read and enjoy, learning new things the whole time. It's more than a book, it's an actual experience. From aspiring to

Purple Hibiscus by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

Another classic by the fabulous Chimamanda. As you can probably tell, I love her so much. She's a good influence to people everywhere. Okay now about the boooook!!!!!!!!!!! (We'll definitely talk about her again though👌). Now I could write a whole book about this book, which would be turned into a movie. That’s how amazing this book is. It has class and it gives you new opinions. When I read this I was in absolute awe. I would love to give you a deep analyzation of this book. So why shouldn’t? Let me stop rambling and get started on this. Purple Hibiscus is a storyyyyyyyy!!! Like honestly you guys need to read this book, you would love it just as much as I did. It was full of climaxes like at every single point. Just going up and down and up and down. Most times it was just peaking, like a heartbeat machine where the heart rate is just peaking and doesn't go down. Then towards the end, the biggest climax happens and you know what I may have hinted at it but you sh
